The creator of Wending Living Style Plaza. Mr. Kevin Yeung has an M.A. Economics and comes from an investment banking background, with his main focus on commercial real estate investment. Investment and management in property developments and consulting for shopping malls. Currently chairman of Glory Profit Holdings Co., Ltd, Prestige International investment Holdings, Ltd, Glory Star Properties Limited and New Bridge Investment Consulting Co.,Ltd., in cooperation with Citygroup Property Investors, Macquarie Bank and WP Carrey. In 2006 completed China real estate projects valued over USD $400 million.
Project framework
I enjoy quality life and focus on high living decor in the past when needed to buy imported furniture or living goods, I had to make a trek to Huaihai Road, Plaza 66 and the Bund just to find only a few brands, with very limited inventory. Running around town for such a limited selection was frustrating as well as time-consuming. That was when I thought of the idea of Wending – an international home furnishing center with extravagant choices in style and famous brands .
After I got approval for #204 Wending Road, I decided to make it the most unique furniture center in Shanghai. Going beyond my original concept, I decided to blend in an entire design service and exhibition area, as well as a service center to support designers as well as the international brands that are a part of Wending. All of these factors will help make Wending the finest home furnishings center in Shanghai, and in greater china.
